Homelessness
Homelessness is a pressing concern,
especially for children, its a wicked turn.
It knows no bounds, it spans the globe,
With statistics soaring it takes its toll.
Men, women and children side by side,
but the young ones suffer deep inside.
Their education is disrupted, their dreams are deferred,
their confidence is shattered and hope becomes blurred.
Imagine hunger's gnawing pain,
called names and left out in the rain.
Children, innocent and frail,
deserve more than this cruel tale.
We must not turn a blind eye,
to their plight we can't deny.
Let's join hands and take a stand,
lend our voices and make a plan.
To the authority we plea to
provide shelter and meet their needs.
For children are our nation's wealth,
They deserve homes and robust health.
Let us act, let compassion reign,
for homelessness brings endless pain.
Our children are our future and need our care
in a world where they can thrive and fare.
